Sydney, Australia

First of all, a big thanks to Trev and Hayley for putting us up for 8 nights as we explored Sydney in amazing winter weather (apart from the fishing day). After 4 months with a rice and noodle diet, Trev firing up the BBQ on our first night to roast steak was a very welcome sight.
...Also thanks to Dan and Row for hosting a great evening out.
We both loved Sydney - the cliff top views, warm winter sunshine, clear blue ocean, humpback whales and a great place to stay in Clovelly with Trev and Hayley - we considered staying longer but New Zealand awaited us.

The only wet day which finished fishless :-(

GULP! - Suvi being brave up the AMP Tower in central Sydney.

Downtown Sydney views.

Monorail.

Just liked this angle.

Cormorant showing off to the Australian Navy at Woolloomooloo.

Hey handsome... come here often?

No trip to Sydney is complete without this photo :-)

We loved walking around the harbour...sooo photogenic.

The most interesting building in the world??....

....different from every angle...

....are they sails, shells, fans...

.....nope, just thousands of white tiles reflecting the sun.

...strike a pose!

The famous 'coat hanger' - Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Sydney Aquarium at Darling Harbour.

Our favourite, the Dudong, getting a mouthwash.

...a great place for a rest.

Cliff top jogging vistas en-route from Clovelly to Bondi.

...Suvi running off last nights BBQ food and wine.

Considering a cliff jump....not!

Crazy Englishman taking a dip at Bronte lifesavers pool - was pretty cold.

Cliff top sunset over Gordons Bay....

Return trip to Circular Key from Manly.....this city looks sooo good.

.... my best image of the day.

Getting thrown out of the Botanical Gardens at Farm Cove by park rangers.....just time to take this one.

More evening scenes....

...ok, running out of superlatives for this place.

Thanks Trev for a great birthday present...18 holes on the cliffs. Unfortunately this shot summed up my round......why is my ball still there??

...The fastest greens I had ever played....more like a snooker table.

Watsons Bay on another cliff top walk.

Fish and chips on the beach at Doyles, Watsons Bay.

The day would not be complete without a game of bowls......

....of course, you need beers whilst you bowl.

Bowling and Humpback Whale watching at the same time...amazing.

Look at that setting for a game of bowls.....ocean just below.

Farewell BBQ....our final fill of red meat....kangaroo kebabs and Suvi's ribs.
